When a death which has been expected occurs at home the doctor who has been treating your loved ones should be contacted. He or She, or a colleague will attend to confirm that a death has occurred and give permission for your loved one to be transferred to the Funeral Directors. At this point you should contact us on 01332 233045 (this is a 24 hour number and covers all areas) to arrange for our staff to transfer the deceased to our Chapels of Rest.

Provided your loved one  has seen their doctor during their last illness (within the previous 14 days) He or She will issue a medical certificate stating the cause of death to allow you to register the death at your local registry office.
